NHS Health Check Training

Training Programme November 2021 – March 2022

The NHS Long Term Plan identifies cardiovascular disease (CVD) as a clinical priority and the single biggest condition where lives can be saved by the NHS over the next 10 years. Then our world was disrupted by COVID-19, and now we have much to do to improve the detection and management of atrial fibrillation, blood pressure and cholesterol (ABCs). This pandemic has had a huge impact on many services and shone a spotlight on inequalities.

Therefore, Public Health Richmond and Wandsworth are putting on a series of training courses to support practices to:

  • Target residents disproportionally affected by COVID
  • Deliver the NHS Health Check programme
  • Support the CVD DES

We now have a simple online booking process, where you will receive reminders and a diary invite to download.

All attendees will receive handouts and certificates.
