How to book training

Training provided by your local Public Health Commissioner or Training Hub:

If you have received an email or flyer containing training details, please click on the link to register via the dedicated booking page for your area.  Commissioned training is free to access, your details will be shared with the local commissioner for Public Health to confirm that you are eligible to attend.

Booking a training event as an organisation for employees:

Online courses: Organisations can browse existing courses on the event calendar and then complete the invoice request form including attendee details.

Bespoke training: Organisations can commission training to meet local needs, please fill out the Training Enquiry Form to arrange a call to discuss your requirements.

Self-funded delegates:

Individuals can make card payments to book training.

Browse and book courses on the event calendar select the number of tickets you wish to purchase, and complete the registration details at checkout.  You will receive a confirmation email and Zoom link from info@smarthealthsolutions.co.uk within 2 business days.

Can I contact you to make a booking?

How late can I register for training?

Online training registration remains open until the start of the session unless fully booked. Zoom links are generated automatically as soon as you register. 

In-person training registration deadlines are usually earlier and the link will close, please email info@smarthealthsolutions.co.uk with queries.

How can I commission training?

Organisations can commission training to meet local needs, please fill out the Training Enquiry Form to arrange a call to discuss your requirements.

Can we bespoke training to local needs?

Yes, if we are provided with local guidelines or protocols we are happy to share these and refer specifically to these during the study day. 

Does training count towards CPD?

All our training counts towards continuing professional development.

The number of hours awarded reflects the length of each training.

When will I receive my certificate?

Certificates are available for all attendees who have completed the training once you have submitted feedback on MedAll platform for healthcare professionals. Doing so will automatically generate the certificate, which will be available for download immediately and is also stored on your MedAll profile.

The feedback link will be sent out within 2 business days of the training followed by one reminder so please check your spam box if it does not arrive in your inbox. 

Why do I need to register on MedAll?

Smart Health Solutions works in collaboration with MedAll, the one-stop platform for healthcare professionals, to manage registrations, evaluations, certificates and handouts. 

Using your NHS email to register with MedAll will expedite verification. If you have a different email provider or are new to MedAll, click here for a helpful guide on registration and verification.

HCPs can register an account with MedAll for unlimited access to their certificate and reflective notes for CPD and revalidation. All certificates awarded through MedAll, even from other training organisations, will be automatically added to their e-portfolio for future access and can be found in your profile under the achievements tab by clicking HERE.

Will I receive training handouts?

Yes! Handouts to supplement live training events whether in person or online, are available on MedAll upon submission of your feedback. Handouts and slides are labelled ‘catch-up content’ and a link is emailed automatically when feedback is submitted. 

How do I submit feedback for training?

You will be sent an evaluation link and reminders directly from the MedAll platform after training, simply click on the link emailed to you to submit your feedback.

Unfortunately, I missed the online session, is there an opportunity to view this training or access the handouts?

No, we don’t record our training sessions. They are delivered live by our fantastic trainers, which opportunities for questions and discussion as a participatory component of CPD.

The handouts are provided only to those who attended our training. We suggest you book another session to attend. Zoom produces a timed attendance report which will be checked before informing the commissioner of any apparent access issues joining the training.

Will the commissioner receive an attendance and evaluation report?

Yes, commissioners are sent registration updates before the training followed by an attendance/DNA report after the event.

Evaluation from the training will be analysed and an anonymised summary report sent to the commissioner approximately 4 weeks after the event.
