Health Inequalities Training
for Norfolk and Waveney
The Norfolk and Waveney Health Inequalities Training Programme is a blended learning programme, designed to support primary care staff in their understanding of Health Inequalities and the impacts of these to provide improved access, a better experience and improved health outcomes for underserved communities.
Successful completion of the training will support individuals in their journey to become a Health Inequalities Advocate within their organisation to promote the Health Inequalities Framework for Action principles, embed these guiding principles into their organisational ways of work and to signpost and support colleagues in their own development and understanding of these expectations.
Who is it for?
This training programme aims to support all Primary Care Workforce Teams across the system including General Practice, Optometry, Pharmacy and Dental providers.
Whilst there are no strict entry requirements, other than membership of the Primary Care Workforce within the Norfolk and Waveney system, it is anticipated that participants will be working in a position of leadership and/or hold a professional registration.
The promotional video will be a short clip featuring the trainer, to introduce the training programme and invite viewers to join the launch event.
