We are delighted to invite you to attend the launch of the OHID London NHS Health Check training support resource pack. Commissioned by OHID London, Smart Health Solutions has developed 2 training videos along with a Q & A document.

We know informally from several discussions at London NHS HC Network meetings that the quality of NHS HCs across London and elsewhere is variable and a challenging issue to tackle due to various reasons, including lack of training, time for the check, lack of feedback, lack of nationally collected data on training etc.

Key objectives of the resource pack:

• To equip staff with the information, skills, and confidence to deliver an NHS HC

• To offer reassurance on the consistency of practice in line with national guidance

• To form part of the regional approach to quality assurance.

This training resource pack is to complement NOT replace existing training.
