We’ve created a range of free events for commissioners to connect, exchange ideas and learn from one another in a friendly, supportive environment.

What are the Commissioner Drop-ins?

Our Commissioner drop-ins provide a relaxed, supportive forum for commissioners to share experiences, discuss challenges, exchange ideas and ask questions. Each session is shaped by the needs of attendees, ensuring discussions remain relevant, practical and timely.

What can I expect?

Sessions are hosted by Michaela Nuttall, Founder and Director of Smart Health Solutions, and cover a wide range of topics across NHS Health Checks and Tobacco & Vaping, with commissioners encouraged to suggest future discussion topics.

Commissioner Collaborative

The Commissioner Collaborative is a growing national network that brings commissioners together to share learning, showcase innovation and support continuous improvement in prevention services. Members help shape future discussions, share examples of good practice and benefit from ongoing collaboration beyond individual drop-in sessions.

CVD Modern Service Framework and NHS Health Checks

The publication of the CVD Modern Service Framework (MSF) sets out an ambitious vision for cardiovascular disease prevention and care over the next decade. As local systems begin to consider what this means in practice, many commissioners are exploring how the framework could influence NHS Health Check programmes and wider cardiovascular prevention services.
